day surgery 2.0

Surprise! New "guys" (a.k.a. WoodyBuzz) made waking up early 

and getting to the hospital by 6:30 easy to do.

Elmo and Dick are some of James' favorite guys these days. He has to know where they are at all times, and he takes them almost everywhere.

James often needs "a little help" lining up the friends that came with his new bus,

but he's getting better at it all the time.

The Carrot Cake

I really wanted to make a cake for James' first birthday. I decided to make a carrot cake (my favorite), with Alex's help of course.

 

    We gave James his own cupcake.

 

The frosting made him really thirsty!

    He made a mess with his cupcake...

....and he didn't like it one bit!

 

 

Maybe next year I'll get him a chocolate cake from the bakery.
